California Woman of the Year!
Tinesia Conwright named 2025 California Woman of the Year
"I am beyond grateful to be recognized as the 2025 California Woman of the Year for the 79th Assembly District by Assemblymember LaShae Sharp-Collins in Sacramento! This moment is a powerful reminder of why I do this work—to create pathways to success for women and girls of color through mentorship, leadership, and empowerment.
From DETOUR's F.A.N.C.Y. Teen Girls Expo & Academy to Workforce Development, my mission has always been to equip young girls with the confidence, skills, and opportunities they need to thrive.
Thank you, Assemblymember LaShae Sharp-Collins, for this incredible recognition and for amplifying the voices of women who are driving impact in our communities. I share this award with all the amazing individuals who have been part of this journey.
